Meet Fannie Mae's new compliance requirements with ease

Valcre recently released our latest product updates – enhancements designed to empower appraisers with smarter workflows, more robust data capabilities and unprecedented efficiency.

A key aspect of this update was our brand new Fannie Mae DUS export, enabling Valcre users to easily meet Fannie Mae’s new 2025 appraisal compliance requirements for multi-family properties.

What are the new requirements?

As the appraisal industry collectively embraces digital tools and processes, data structure and governance has become an essential focus. Fannie Mae has developed new data standards with the cooperation of DUS® Lenders and industry participants. According to Fannie Mae, capturing structured data from these reports will enable most efficient reviews and seamless data delivery – elevating the entire appraisal industry.

To that end, Fannie Mae has introduced the new Fannie Mae Delegated Underwriting and Servicing (DUS) Digitizer. Data file submissions will be required beginning January 28, 2025.

This new system requires appraisers to submit appraisal file data in an XML format, which many appraisers do not have experience with. Enter Valcre.
